New to Church?

We’d love to welcome you to CaLM! Whether you’ve never been to church before or it’s been a long time, you are really welcome here. We’re a community of ordinary people from across the Blue Mountains, learning to follow Jesus together.

Our Sunday Gatherings

We meet each Sunday at 9:30am in three locations:

• Blaxland – 72 Old Bathurst Rd, Blaxland East
• Springwood – 4 Lewin St, Springwood
• Hazelbrook – 1 Rosedale Ave, Hazelbrook

Each gathering is a little different, but all are warm, welcoming, and centred on Jesus.

What to Expect

When you come along, you can expect a relaxed and friendly environment. Our services usually go for about 60–75 minutes and include:

• Singing together
• Prayer
• Reading from the Bible
• A talk that helps connect the Bible to everyday life

There’s no dress code—come as you are. You won’t be put on the spot, and you’re free to simply observe or join in as you feel comfortable.

After the service, many people stick around for a chat and a cuppa—it’s a great way to get to know others.

Families, Kids & Youth

Children are always welcome in our services. At this stage, we don’t run Sunday kids programs, but we love having kids as part of our church family.

We also offer other great programs during the week:

• CRaZy CaLM Kids Club (Years 3–6)
• Youth & Young Adults (Year 10 and above)

As we grow, we’re looking to develop more opportunities for children—particularly within our Springwood community.

Starting somewhere new can feel daunting, but we’d love to help make it easy. If you have questions, want to learn more, or would like someone to look out for you when you visit, we’d love to hear from you.
